Bonnie Horton Willoughby is the Founder of Miss Pink Media, a brand partnership expert, and a multi-unit Drybar owner.
Prior to making the jump into entrepreneurship, Bonnie worked as Director of Brand Content and Partnerships at the Emmy Award-winning The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Ellen Digital Network for nine seasons. At Ellen, Bonnie secured over 300 A-list talent bookings for TV, film, and sports. She also sold and executed deals with clients including Mercedes Benz, Visa, Dreamworks Animation, CoverGirl, Dunkin’ Donuts, Ford Motor Company, and Nordstrom.
Some of her most notable TV and film bookings include the first exclusive sit-down interview with The Cast of NBC’s “The Voice” and Disney’s “The Avengers.” In the world of sports, Bonnie secured the first interview with Super Bowl MVP quarterback Aaron Rogers after his team, the Green Bay Packers, won the 2011 Super Bowl, as well as Team USA snowboarder Jamie Anderson’s first appearance after her goal medal win at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
After turning a straight booking with Eva Mendes into an integration promoting her new clothing line at New York & Co, Bonnie discovered her passion and love for negotiation and sales. She honed those skills for nearly a decade at Ellen and has now brought that expertise and enthusiasm to Nashville with Miss Pink Media. Bonnie has a proven track record for generating revenue through branded entertainment in both on-air and digital settings. She has a passion for developing breakthrough branded content that inspires and influences audiences, as well as helping talent amplify their messages and brand partnerships through engaging content.
Now, at MPM, Bonnie is determined to continue creating opportunities that empower women in media, as she has in the beauty industry. She also owns and operates two Nashville locations of Drybar, the “No Cuts, No Colors, Just Blowouts” hair salon that has perfected their signature styles, all named after their favorite cocktails.
Bonnie started her career at the #1 entertainment news magazine, CBS’s Entertainment Tonight and was instrumental in the launch of the all-new, millennial targeted show The Insider, working directly with on-air talent, managing production staff and creating daily content. Bonnie has also worked on the Special Events Team for Warner Bros. (WB) Theatrical Marketing Division, doing PR and event planning associated with each of WB’s film releases, film premieres, the studio’s annual Oscar party, and filmmaker dinners.
Bonnie is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a BA degree in Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting. Bonnie resides in Nashville with her husband, Jesse and their two dogs; Miss Pink & Biscuits.
